1944-06-00 Franklin Middle School, Yakima. Years later after a new middle school opened in 1998, Angie purchased a paving brick with her name that can be found in the plaza behind the restored north entrance of the old Franklin Junior High. The site can be found on the east side of the school along South 19th Avenue. A paving brick for her husband Dan, who taught at Franklin from 1964 until his retirement in 1988, also can be found there.
